To whom it may concern: When we were told about Silk Balance Spa Water Care System, we were really skeptical... throw away all our other chemicals and get cleaner and clearer water? No way! It does work as promised. Weekly maintenance is super easy that the kids can do it. Water quality is better and we never to worry about too much or too little of some chemical. We purchased our first Spa, a Classic, from Hotsprings Spas in 1991. Replaced the Classic in March 2009 with a new Jetsetter. During the time we had the first spa, we found it difficult to maintain the correct chemical balance and did not like to fuss with that part of owing a spa. When we bought the new Jetsetter in 2009, we were told of a new water management system called SilkBalance. It has solved all of the fussing around with adding/balancing of chemicals and testing. Now just one tsp of Chlorinating Concentrate and a couple ounces of SilkBalance once a week, that is all there needs to be done, which means no testing. I am sure amounts may vary based on the size of your spa. We would highly recommend Silkbalance to anyone owning a spa; it works for us and it will work for you. John Mock |

The Best There Is! I have had a Grandee Hot Spring tub since December of 2001. We enjoy using it , but trying to remember what to put in and when was a hassle at times. I have tried all the new products that came along through the years, but I can tell you that the Silk Balance System is by far the best there is! It is the simplest and easy to use product, water has never stayed clearer and I don't even have to test it! I have been using the Silk Balance System since October and not once have I had to make any adjustments! Thanks Hot Spring Spas for your recommendation and service!

Hello Alice, I have a Vanguard model hot tub, that I enjoy every night before I go to bed and sometimes the next morning, if it's a weekend. I love using Silk Balance. You can just tell when it goes into the water that it's good for your skin. It makes hot tubing just about as easy as it can get. Just use it once a week on a regular schedule and all is well. Dear Dan C/O The Hottub Store We have been using Silk Balance for about 6 months now with great results. Gone are the test strips and me trying to be a chemist, determining whether or not the PH is high or low, etc. I just add the recommended amount per the manufacture and that’s it, in other words, shake the bottle, add the recommended amount and turn on the jets for the recommended time to mix it up. That’s it! I recommended this for anyone who has a spa. It’s easy and convenient.

I have had my Caspian Tub for over one year. Why I like SilkBalance I Like SilkBalance because it is so easy to use and my skin feels great! I have had one other hot tub in the past and I am no chemist and using well water and it was so hard to get it just right so that my skin didn't itch. I hated that part of owning a hot tub in addition to using those pesky test strips, trying to add and subtract accordingly, and I didn't think I'd ever want another hot tub again. Then I researched Olympic Hot Tubs and talked to a GREAT guy at Olypmic Hot Tubs here In Issaquah named Jon Hutter who knew A LOT about water and my well problems, Jon was the one who introduced me to SilkBalance. What a Difference!! I have lower back and shoulder problems and the jets on this Olympic Hot Spring Jetsetter is WONDERFUL!!!!! I have showed my hot tub to a lot of people and told them about SilkBalance.

SilkBalance is so much easier to keep the water in balance. I don't miss testing the water or adding the different treatments at all SilkBalance makes it quick & easy with no guess work. As a bonus, my wife who never would add the chemicals will do the weekly SilkBalance. The water feels silky soft and is cleaner too. I think we use the tub even more since we switched to SilkBalance. When you get out of the tub there is no more odd chemical smell and no itchy skin. We also like to use a small amount of the Magma Onsen Japanese Bath Powder. It is soothing, has a pleasant smell and adds a nice light aqua blue color to the water and a little goes a long way.

I just got my very first hot tub and to be honest I was concerned about having to test the water for pH, alkalinity and hardness twice a week. I tried SilkBalance and I can say that SilkBalance provides an easy way to treat the water of my hot tub and at the same time is gentle with my children’s skin. 4 oz weekly is just enough to give a nice feeling of clean water with no hard odors or dry skin. I cannot imagine other way to treat hot tub’s water but with SilkBalance. Thank you

Dear Silk Balance, We got our new hot tub in September 2009. We had choices upon choices of sanitation products available to use. I had a swimming pool growing up. I remember the days of testing the Ph, testing the chlorine, add a bit of this, add a bit of that and more testing! Then maybe if you got close your eyes wouldn’t be red for a week! I hoped for a much easier method to keep our new treasure sparkling clean and refreshing. We also had concerns because we have some family and friends, who had gotten UTI and/or bladder infections from using other hot tubs with harsh chemicals. Ouch! We went with Silk Balance because it was the easiest for us to use once a week with only needing to add bromine every other use. Great! We were still worried about the sensitive family and friends. We were amazed to hear that this system was even gentle enough for them also! We have been using Silk Balance for 6 months now. We are glad this product makes enjoying our hot tub a real gift for everyone!

I have spent over two years trying to get the water quality right in my hot tub. With the help of Val Miller and Caleb Hussong at your Dexter Avenue store, I finally have the beautiful clear water I have been seeking. They encouraged me to try the Silk system. I was ready to try most anything, but I was skeptical. I am happy to report that Silk is everything they said it would be. The Silk product has finally solved my water care problems. Hal, Using Silk Balance makes spa maintenance simple and is a huge time savings. When filling the hot tub with fresh water, I simply put the prescribed amount of Silk Balance in with the new water and it balances out the water. No more multiple chemicals to achieve the balanced water that is right for the hot tub. The weekly maintenance is also much easier. A couple of years ago I walked stiffly into Olympic Hot Tub Co in Seattle and met Val. I am an electrician and have to crawl around and under some impossible places! This is our second spa we have purchased from Hanson Spas. We've had no problems and have been very pleased with our spas. Our second spa is the Tiger River Bengal.
